For three years LAWN CHAIR has been an integral part of the German indie scene. The band has released two EPs in collaboration with producers Olaf Opal (The Notwist) and Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and played countless gigs all over Germany.A first tour in England, rousing support shows for Sleaford Mods, Primal Scream, Getdown Services and gigs at festivals such as Reeperbahn Festival and Fusion were just the latest milestones of the ambitious band.

With their long-awaited debut album YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT!, they’ll be taking over clubs and festivals in 2025 with their energetic live performances.YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT! explores life in late capitalism, caught in the web of smartphone addiction and toxic masculinity, the desire for success and the search for inner peace—always shadowed by the inescapable imprints of one’s origins.

Led by singer and Seattle native Claudia Schlutius, the band wraps all of this into a captivating blend of post-punk echoes, uncompromising guitar riffs, pop-driven basslines, and pulsating synthesizers—expertly crafted by producer Olaf Opal. Drawing inspiration from genre-defining bands like DEVO, Broadcast, and Beck, YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT! is a compelling exploration of the contradictions of modern life. https://linktr.ee/lawnchairmusic

“Bursting into a shouty, fists-aloft chorus before zoning back to minimalism, it’s quiet-loud tricks are a tried-and-tested recipe for success” DIY

“I like this a lot. I like the deadpan poetry it uses to describe the scene and the unsettled, unpredictable, jerky nature of the music as well” Steve Lamacq, BBC R6 Music

+ MAGDA are an “uncompromising, raw and chaotic post-punk” band (Left of the Dial Festival Rotterdam 2025) based between London and Brighton. With influences ranging from ‘Pixies’ to ‘Mount Kimbie’ and ‘OVLOV’, MAGDA’s first EP release ‘Hole Punched in Cloud’ has been well received, gathering a cult following. Formed through friendship, MAGDA boast a powerful live set consisting of crunchy guitar, driving bass and drums, and ethereal synths, a sound which has earned them play on BBC Radio 6 music’s ‘New Music Fix’. Front man Max Lambert creates an erratic yet endearing stage presence by contrasting lyrics stemming from sickness and health, with the band’s noisy and stirring sound to create a unique live experience. MAGDA are not only doing something new, but something heartfelt. MAGDA have played sold out shows at Fabrik in Hamburg (supporting Fischer Z), as well as shows at The Shacklewell Arms, Brighton’s infamous Green Door Store, The George Tavern, The Social, Homegrown festival Brighton, Lewisham Arts Club, Rossi Bar, The Hope and Ruin and The Old Blue Last. MAGDA have created a buzz making music that is different and unapologetic, they are not only one to watch, but one for the ages.

+ Emerging from of the bustling Brighton music scene, Laurie McMahon provides evocative songwriting alongside timelessly catchy composition inspired by the 90s and 00s surge in Brit Pop and indie folk. Laurie is the 2025 ‘Road To Lakefest’ winner which will see him share the main stage of the festival with British new-wave icons Echo & The Bunnymen showcasing him as one to watch for the near future. https://www.instagram.com/lauriemcmahonmusic/
