Bratakus Brighton

Bratakus live in Brighton at The Prince Albert on 16th September! Get tickets above, or from SeeTickets.

Bratakus are two sisters from the Highlands of Scotland who play politically charged punk rock ‘n’ roll. They are fast, furious and full of righteous rage. Kicking out the jams with minimal nonsense and maximum ragged attitude. https://bratakus.bandcamp.com/

+ Creeping Embers: Formed in May 2024, Creeping Embers are an all queer, trans and disabled fronted, genre hopping punk band from Brighton uk. Loud, Chaotic, and slightly unhinged, Creeping Embers combine Rumbling bass tones, erratic drum beats and biting vocals to create an experience you won’t forget! With grimly theatrical visuals and atmospheric stage performances, Creeping Embers twist the standard idea of a live music performance to create something that is sure to remain etched in your memory.

The band’s lyrics focus on a wide variety of topics such as social injustice, lgbtq+ rights, living with disabilities, getting a little bit too drunk and accidentally ending up on stage and more.

Comparable to bands such as Cheap Perfume, Destroy Boys, The Oozes, Amyl and the Sniffers,, Petrol Girls, The Cure and The Buzzcocks, Creeping Embers take influence from a variety of genres including punk, post punk, queercore, grunge, funk, folk, alternative rock and gothic rock, then smush it all together to create their own sound, ideal for both fans of these bands and new comers to the genres!

+ Batmilk: Batmilk are a Brighton based band consisting of members Ania, Ecca, Freya and James. Their shows are a layered mix of slowcore and alt rock interlaced with soundscapes of caves, bats and atmospheric noise. Inspired by bands like duster, grouper and slint you could expect to migrate across a hilly landscape of delicate to distorted and hypnotic walls of sound.
