Die Twice are redefining band culture for a new generation disillusioned with the modern landscape of social media soundtracks and lack of shared experiences. Band members Olly Bayton, Billy Twamley, Finn ‘Blue’ Lloyd and Jake ‘Fig’ Coles are using their raw and romantic absurdity to lead the charge of a new wave of UK Rock and Roll.
Combining the edge of The Doors and The Clash with the emotional resonance of Erykah Badu and Jeff Buckley, their bold use of genre bending riffs, driving rhythm section and gut wrenchingly honest lyricism begs you to lean in and feel.
Their acerbic wit, cheeky charm and authenticity speak to the core sensibilities of the human experience. From danger and pain to love and identity, Die Twice refuse to conform to expectations as frivolous as genre and social norms. Coupled with their creative integrity and raw talent, Die Twice Die Twice are an experience: bold, authentic, and unforgettable. In two words? Beautiful Chaos.
FFO: Fontaines DC, Wunderhorse, Blur, The Doors, Nothing But Thieves, Jeff Buckley, and the Pixies. https://dietwice.bandcamp.com/album/a-beautiful-thing
+ BIGHEAD: BIGHEAD are a 4 piece Indie-Grunge band based in Brighton. Their raw and powerful sound brings a real energy to their live shows.
+ Distress Call: Distress Call are the latest up-and-coming GrungeGaze band from the south coast of the UK. Fusing inspiration from math rock, grunge, shoegaze, and prog metal, they create a sonic cocktail of doomy-and-gloomy vibes emboldened by waves of high intensity guitar riffs and powerful vocals. Taking their inspiration from music and cinema alike, Distress Call sounds like the music equivalent of a found footage horror film of the 90s, aiming to bring their sound barraging to the top of the scene with a nostalgic, unsettling intensity.
