Max Kinghorn-Mills is the Brighton-based artist behind the psych-pop project Hollow Hand – and with a new record due this year – the latest signing to Loose Music. 2023’s Your Own Adventure received widespread acclaim (MOJO, Uncut, BBC 6Music, Brooklyn Vegan, La Blogotheque , Aquarium Drunkard, Shindig!) since then, Hollow Hand have toured extensively – serving as house band for Caitlin Rose, collaborating and performing with Aoife Nessa Frances, supporting MJ Lenderman across Europe, and joining Willie J Healey on his most recent UK tour. https://www.hollowhand.com

+ Mega Bog (solo): Mega Bog is the moniker of song-dribbler Erin Birgy, a Pacific Northwest rodeo child with an unmistakable laugh who was allegedly cursed upon conception. For nearly two decades the band has stretched and wandered in a crescendo towards musical freedom, less a fixed group than a continually mutating collective of friends, musicians and conspirators. Birgy has adopted bands of wiggly jazz cartoons lifted from Big Thief, iji, Dear Nora, Hand Habits, Heatwarmer and many others, assembling and reassembling around seven albums of strange and restless music. Now based in Dublin, Birgy’s practice has expanded beyond the borders of the band into composition, production, film, poetry, activism and humanitarian work. Increasingly, these things are difficult to separate: music, mutual aid, organizing, friendship and community all feeding the same ecosystem, with an interest in what art can actually do inside a world in crisis. Melodies always lush, erotic, and free. Chords always dissonant, abstract and evolutionary. ACCESSIBILITY : We operate within a Grade-II listed building, built in the 1860s. Although built as a school for working-class children, we do not have the facility to give unencumbered access to users with physical access needs. There are two large staircases to the live room.
