London singer/songwriter Iraina Mancini creates a chic brand of pop inspired by psychedelia, retro-soul, yé-yé, vintage cinema, and other esoteric traditions. After leading her own electronic band, Mancini, she worked as both a model and DJ who specialized in genres like Northern Soul and Latin Boogaloo in the late 2000s. Mancini began her solo career in the early 2020s, fusing her myriad influences into a distinctive sound of her own on singles like “Do It (You Stole the Rhythm)” and “Undo the Blue,” the latter of which became the title for her 2023 full-length debut.

+ Kovak: Brighton based electro disco rockers Kovak have reunited after a long break from the stage and are set to release their first new single in almost 10 years this July. Giving Up Love is a tongue in cheek synth driven pop rocker that started life at the bands final recording sessions with dance producer Andy Gray back in 2012. The accompanying video sees the band in the boxing ring with Belgian born Annelies Van De Velde packing more than a punch as the lead singer spars against the true heavyweight contender – LOVE! Formed by brothers Karl & Dazza Bray in the early 2000’s, Kovak ran their acclaimed Club Kovak night with DJ sets from The Go! Team, Alex Patterson, Youth & Kidda.

The venue is only accessible via a flight of stairs however they can offer access via a back door at street level to the venue if mobility is an issue or you use a wheelchair. There are 3 large steps via this route so assistance to gain access and to exit the venue would be required. We can arrange this if you contact us in advance of a show. Please bear in mind that they can only allow access in between bands due to sound issues. Two disabled toilets upstairs, both gender neutral. If you require a carer at the venue, please contact us at info@lovethyneighbourmusic.co.uk for guestlist, with evidence such as a blue badge or access card. If strobe lighting is an issue or if standing for long periods of time is an issue, please contact us in advance. They can provide chairs in the venue although if the event is very busy this will impede visibility. If you wish to make use of a chair to view a gig, we advise arriving early to secure a position. They are happy to accommodate assistance dogs.
