NO FRIENDS IN THE INDUSTRY
Our unofficial parties return! No Friends in the Industry is a free entry (with or without TGE wristband) floor show in the bar area of Fiddlers Elbow. The stage runs across all three nights of the festival from Thursday 15th May to Saturday 17th May.

THURSDAY2330 – GLION

0030 – Heavy Lungs: Heavy Lungs bring raw, loud and uncompromising energy to their shows taking influence from the rowdy and liberating gigs of the 80s and 90s. Rising brutally fast from the get-go, they have shared stages with comrades IDLES, The Oh Sees, METZ, JOHN and more.

0130 – Bucket: A project conceived by guitarist/vocalist Cian Dahdouh, bassist Emmett McNamee, and drummer Josh Dorrell, Dublin-based 3 piece Bucket seemingly appeared from nowhere with their debut album in the latter half 2021; breeding the DIY ethics of garage and punk rock, soon endowing a reputation for their sweaty live shows. The band’s debut headline saw them sell out The Workman’s Club, soon playing an array of wall-to-wall DIY shows across Ireland.

FRIDAY

Fusing the laid-back vibes of indie surf rock with captivating vocal harmonies, the band have captivated audiences across Australia and New Zealand. With a growing international following and a recent sync feature on Netflix’s Outer Banks, Day We Ran are ready to take their unique sound to a global stage.

0030 – Twenty One Children: Twenty One Children are a dynamic punk duo from Johannesburg, South Africa, set to redefine the country’s alternative music scene. Consisting of friends Thula and Abdula, the pair blends U.S.-inspired skate culture with their unique Sowetan identity, crafting a sound that’s fresh, defiant, and brimming with energy. With a sharp sense of humour and a nod to their homeland’s rebellious spirit, their music channels the raw intensity of bands like Dead Kennedys while carving out their own thrilling path
