Known for his sincere and soulful indie pop, Yenkee has captivated audiences with his lo-fi bedroom recordings. Now based in London, he debuted with the EP “Cannibal Tree” in 2019, followed by “Yen” on Soft Boy Records in 2022. Get ready for his highly anticipated debut album, “Night Golf,” set to drop on 25th October 2024. https://yenkee.bandcamp.com/
+ Thrillhouse: Thrillhouse are an Alternative Indie band from Brighton. Their genre bending sound has won the praise of KEXP, John Kennedy and BBC Introducing. With sincerity cushioned in wry humour, driving beats and ecstatic hooks, Thrillhouse push the boundaries of the contemporary Indie sound.
Taking Bruce Springsteen’s grandiose, The War On Drugs’ engine and Alex Cameron’s sardonic tongue, Thrillhouse draw influence from the music they love Described as ‘Indies largely undiscovered yet most precious gem’ Their new EP, ‘Smile’ is set to release in spring 2025
Unfortunately, Folklore Rooms is not accessible for those in wheelchairs or those that have any serious physical disability. The toilets aren’t accessible and the stairway up to the venue isn’t either. It’s an old listed building and despite all efforts, it’s sadly something they are unable to change.
