SUMMARY:Kiwi Jr. | Brighton + Stanford Family Band
DESCRIPTION:Kiwi Jr. Brighton \nKiwi Jr. live in Brighton at The Hope & Ruin on 8th November! Get tickets above or from Seetickets. Co-pro with Form. \nSmash cut to Kiwi Jr.’s third album\, Chopper\, overseen by trusted pilot Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade\, Handsome Furs) on storied Sub Pop Records. Turning nocturnal with necks mock turtle\, our Local Kiwi Jr. takes neon flight off the digital cliff – like The Monkees starring in Blade Runner; like Michael Mann directs Encino Man. Ten songs with synth shimmer\, zen gongs with yard strimmer. The signs along the highway read “LESS BAR\, MORE NOIR AHEAD.” Ah\, those late summer\, Joe Strummer\, Home on the Range Rover Blues. \nThere’s a melancholy to all forms of flight\, and the view out the Chopper is as hazy as it gets: mission-oriented\, both stealth and self-realized. This album is decidedly (yet almost secretly) anti-patio-sunscreen-Beach Boys bachelor cruise sing-a-long. Sure\, these songs let a little light through the blinds\, but they sting insomnia\, corrupt mayors\, Kennedy Curses\, sex tapes\, and deer rifles. Chopper is the bird’s eye view of the big event – a real nighttime character of oil stain\, film grain\, search light\, night flight. It is muscular and fragile; loud yet quiet: both an observer and somehow the observed spectacle itself. \nWhat was slack in the slacker phase\, got tauter\, with lacquer glaze. Slick gloss\, rightened wrongs; murdered boss\, promoted pawns. With Boeckner transmitting high-voltage shocks upon every reach for a familiar instrument\, Kiwi Jr. expands the palette with string machine song\, synthesizered oblong\, and Dentyne Classic Menthol vocals from area soprano Dorothea Paas (US Girls\, Badge Epoch Ensemble) like the missing piece all along. \nKiwi Jr. brings the Chopper to a new space\, demilitarizing the technology just like flasks\, aviators\, and cargo shorts. Graceful in the air above\, but when the Chopper lands\, there’s chaos on the ground.  Kiwi Jr. shout\, “Look Out!” When it gets close\, it’ll blow the hat right off of your head. \nhttps://kiwijr.bandcamp.com/track/hard-drive-ontario \n \n+ support \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n08112026 – Alien Boy. SUMMARY:Alien Boy + Arcadia Residential + Pleasance | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Alien Boy Brighton \nAlien Boy live in Brighton at The Prince Albert on 8th November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets.  \nIn nearly a decade\, songwriter Sonia Weber’s ability to pen precise lyrics and memorable riffs has become laser-focused. As a result\, the songs feel like they’ve been assembled with all the intention and care of a mixtape to a high-stakes crush. Caleb Misclevitz\, Ellian Conroy\, and Derek McNeil round out the band\, bringing the giant loud guitar rock feeling these songs require. The Portland outfit crafts songs big enough to fill an arena while simultaneously conjuring the emotional intimacy of making out in the bathroom of your favorite karaoke bar. Alien Boy does this by harnessing the raw power of PDX’s Wipers’ but not being afraid to embrace the pop catchiness of rock titans like Oasis or Third Eye Blind\, all while crafting a tone and power distinctly their own. Whether listened to in your headphones in bed or witnessed live in person\, Alien Boy leaves an emotional crater that’ll keep you coming back for more (Gem Fair). https://alienboypdx.bandcamp.com/album/you-wanna-fade \n \n+ Arcadia Residential: Twin-fronted Brighton-born Arcadia Residential find belonging in their raucous stage presence\, catchy hooks and big sonic  climaxes. Tipping mundanity on its side\, the 4-piece deliver on fun\, outlandish and colloquial lyrics\, all strung up in a relatable yarn of young modern life. \n+ Pleasance: In a garden of lush soundscapes\, Pleasance implore you to carve up the dirt with your hands\, and gorge. Hallucinatory\, jittering\, melancholy\, the four-piece leave their audiences unsure if they are awake or in a dream. Their incisive sound\, rooted in alt-rock and grunge\, combines loud-quiet guitars and abstracted structures into well-curated chaos. \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n04072026 – My Precious Bunny. SUMMARY:Big Brave + MICROCORPS | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Big Brave Brighton \nBig Brave live in Brighton at The Prince Albert on 11th November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nThe work of BIG|BRAVE is ever-expanding. The breadth of their sound has encompassed a breathtaking array of dynamics and sonics. Their sound\, guided by their indomitable exploratory spirit\, exploits contrasts between extremity and subtlety. \nThe trio’s singular\, masterful sculpting of sonics into songcraft tucks layers of vulnerability into formidable storms. in grief or in hope is an innovative vision of electro-acoustic sound and emotive storytelling\, an endless bounty of overwhelming distortions and devastating beauty. in grief or in hope marks a shift for BIG|BRAVE towards denser\, guitar-oriented compositions. With longtime touring bassist Liam Andrews (MY DISCO\, Aicher) joining guitarist/vocalist Robin Wattie and guitarist Mathieu Ball in the studio for the first time\, the pieces are keenly layered with a rich tapestry of harmonics and tonal intricacies. Each piece is its own biome of distortions starkly contrasted with delicate\, even tender\, moments. The trio’s instinctual progressions are made more vivid through live recording\, harnessing the gargantuan and storied sound of their performances. Within texturally maximalist loops and affected vocals\, the pieces utilize the aesthetics of drone\, electronic\, and heavy music within a foundation of pop song form. Wattie writes: “I wanted to explore catchy\, melodic phrasing weaved throughout the intensity of the instrumentation and drony chord changes. All that I could reflect on was grief and hope; death and life; cause and effect; shared experiences of being a human person.” https://bigbrave.bandcamp.com/ \n \n+ MICROCORPS: Alexander Tucker’s electronic guise MICROCORPS has released a new album\, CLEAR VORTEX CHAMBER – out now on vinyl via Downwards Records. Featuring collaborations with Regis (Sandwell District\, British Murder Boys\, Eros)\, Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh\, Jesu\, J K Flesh)\, Phew\, Elvin Brandhi\, Karl D’Silva and JJOWDY\, the album follows up 2021’s debut\, Xmit (Alter Records) and 2024’s Macrocorpse tape (The Tapeworm). On the new album Tucker continues to develop work around modular systems\, cello\, bass guitar and voice\, creating tracks of heavy electronics\, that meld machine rhythms with acoustic samples. CLEAR VORTEX CHAMBER combines techno\, contemporary composition\, drone and vocal manipulations to create a dense and often psychedelic world. “… a pleasingly discombobulating record that takes numerous unexpected sharp twists and turns throughout” – Uncut https://microcorps.bandcamp.com/album/clear-vortex-chamber-2 \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n02112026 – villagerrr. SUMMARY:The Boo Radleys | Lewes + The Samurai Seven
DESCRIPTION:The Boo Radleys Lewes \nThe Boo Radleys live at Lewes Con Club on 13th November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nThe Boo Radleys’ journey began in 1988 when childhood friends Sice\, Tim and guitarist Martin Carr formed the band in Wallasey\, England. From the raw\, noise-heavy debut Ichabod and I (1990) and the melodic shoegaze masterpiece Everything’s Alright Forever (1992)\, established them as vital contributors to the UK indie scene. But it was 1993’s Giant Steps\, named NME’s Album of the Year\, that announced them as genuine visionaries\, fusing shoegaze with psychedelia\, dub reggae\, jazz\, and Beach Boys-influenced harmonies. \nThe band achieved their commercial peak with 1995’s chart-topping Wake Up!\, a UK number one album\, featuring the hit single “Wake Up Boo!” which reached number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. Yet even at the height of Britpop fever\, they remained restless. \nThat ethos drove them to release 1996’s C’mon Kids\, which “scared away 100\,000 fans” and which became Tom White of The Electric Soft Parade’s “all-time favourite album.” Their 1998 swan song Kingsize\, sophisticated\, electronic-tinged\, and commercially underperforming\, closed their initial chapter before they quietly disbanded in 1999. \nAfter 23 years apart\, The Boo Radleys reunited in 2021 as a trio\, with Martin Carr choosing not to participate. What could have been a nostalgic retreat instead became a creative rebirth\, with Sice\, Tim\, and Rob adopting democratic songwriting processes and leveraging home recording technology. “What allowed that was technology – Tim is in Northern Ireland\, I live near Oxford\, Rob is in the Peak district” Sice explained. “If it had meant doing it the old way\, going to a rehearsal room and then being ensconced in a studio for six weeks\, there’s no way it was going to happen.” https://thebooradleys.bandcamp.com/track/living-is-easy \n \n+ Support: \nThe Samurai Seven: The Samurai Seven are: Simon Williams (Vocals and Guitar)\, his brother Matt Williams (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals)\, Jimmy Martin (Bass Guitar and Vocals)\, and Chris Hayward (Drums). Having formed in 1997 in Oxford\, The Samurai Seven toured relentlessly and rose to prominence during that year’s Radio One Oxford Sound City event\, where they impressed both John Peel and Steve Lamacq. \nThe original line-up of Oxford’s legendary punk-pop four-piece\, The Samurai Seven\, return with their first release in 25 years. New single Punching Down is a statement of intent\, demonstrating that the band retain their melodic\, frenetic energy – combining Beach Boy vocal harmonies with straight ahead power punk pop – that made them popular with John Peel and audiences across the country. The track was recorded with Grammy winning producer\, Hugo Nicolson (Primal Scream\, Radiohead\, Bjork)\, at Runway Studios and mixed at Fairport Convention’s Woodworm studios in Oxfordshire (Frank Turner\, Garth Hudson\, The Nubiles). https://www.instagram.com/the_samurai_seven \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n08112026 – Alien Boy. SUMMARY:Gold Panda | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Gold Panda Brighton\n\nGold Panda plays A L P H A B E T in Brighton on Thursday 19th November. Tickets available above or from Seetickets\n\nGold Panda returns with TON UP\, a brilliantly stubborn new album for Studio Barnhus: eight rough-hewn dance tracks and two cozy little service-station interludes\, all crafted with the robust determination of a producer who knows that 140 bpm is not so much a tempo as a way of life. Made with Derwin Dicker’s unmistakable sampler-bashing touch\, the tracks on Ton Up carry the raw knock of old-school hip-hop instrumentals\, pushed through pumping house-music machinery and ready to cause absolute trouble on any half-decent sound system.\n\nHere you’ll find zero of that dreaded\, over-explained “maturity” usually demanded of beloved electronic artists several albums deep into the game. Instead\, Gold Panda just sounds as happily locked in as ever\, carelessly chasing the physical joys of pressure\, swing and repetition. TON UP is functional\, funny and oddly tender club music\, arriving just when the world needed it the most (June 26 that is.) www.goldpanda.info\n\n\n \n\nPlus support: Neo Geodesia is the recording name of Saphy Vong (born 1982)\, an experimental electronic music producer and composer born to Cambodian parents\, raised in Nancy\, France\, and currently based in Brighton\, UK. He is known for creating intricate electronic music that is characterised by its emphasis on melody and hypnotic pacing\, conceptually stylised structures and extreme use of audio processing techniques.\nEarly incarnations of Neo Geodesia date back to the mid 2000s\, when Vong was performing under the moniker Lafidki. That project saw him begin using the stylistic forms of electronic and experimental music\, combined with the structure and abrasiveness of noise music. He has released on Orange Milk records before founding Chinabot\, a collective of Asian artists\, in 2017. In 2021 he released his LP ‘2562 Neon Flames’ on Chinabot\, which focused heavily on experimental funeral compositions. His new album ‘Oknha Stamina\,’ released in 2026\, was described as “dazzling\, genre-busting blur” by Daily Bandcamp\, “the intensity waxes and wanes” by The Wire Magazine and “Playful\, polyphonic decoration of dramatic and agile rhythms” by Paste magazine.\nHis work has been extensively presented in festivals and venues across the world such as the Tate Modern\, Hyperdub night\, Pitchfork Festival in London\, Act Festival Asia Culture Center in Gwangju\, Lost Music Festival in Parma\, and Unsafe+Sounds Festival in Vienna. chinabot.co/neogeodesia\n  \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n20102026 – Pina Palau. SUMMARY:Barbican Estate + Batmilk + Dez Dare | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Barbican Estate Brighton  \nBarbican Estate live in Brighton at Green Door Store on 20th November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nTokyo-formed\, London-based trio return with their most expansive and experimental record to date\, featuring new singles “Derek” and “Atlas” Barbican Estate announce their second album\, Rock Drill\, due for release on 6 November 2026 via God Unknown Records. The Tokyo-formed\, London-based three-piece have spent the past few years carving out their own space within the UK underground\, combining the stark geometry of Brutalism with experimental rock\, noise and intensely physical live performance. \nRock Drill sees Barbican Estate pushing that sound further. More experimental and expansive than their previous work\, the album stretches the trio’s palette while retaining the raw\, confrontational energy that has become central to their live shows. It is a record built around tension and movement – abrasive and playful\, dense and spacious\, with the band continually pushing against the edges of what three musicians can do together. https://barbicanestate.bandcamp.com/album/barbican-estate \n \n+ Batmilk: Batmilk are a Brighton based band consisting of members Ania\, Ecca\, Freya and James. Their shows are a layered mix of slowcore and alt rock interlaced with soundscapes of caves\, bats and atmospheric noise. Inspired by bands like duster\, grouper and slint you could expect to migrate across a hilly landscape of delicate to distorted and hypnotic walls of sound. \n+ Dez Dare: \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n10092026 – Ohtis. SUMMARY:Pearl & The Oysters + En Heat | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Pearl & The Oysters Brighton \nPearl & The Oysters live in Brighton at ALPHABET on 21st November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nPearl & The Oysters\, the duo of Juliette Pearl Davis (Juju) and Joachim Polack (Jojo)\, formed a decade ago in Paris\, where they lived until they were young adults. Together\, they make music a lot like their current base of Los Angeles: sunny on the surface\, darker and more layered at its roots. Their fizzy\, squiggly lounge pop – now leaning toward ‘70s piano rock as well as Brazilian\, exotica and city pop influences – asks how to live with uncertainty and disquiet. \nIn January 2025\, as Trump’s second inauguration loomed and wildfires raged through LA. Juju stayed up all night crying. The next morning\, she woke to find that Jojo had written a song for her\, “Wide Awake\,” a calm offering in the midst of panic. From that moment\, the process of creating Monkey Mind began. \nPearl & The Oysters’ new album Monkey Mind takes its title from the Buddhist concept of a restless\, looping consciousness: thoughts jumping\, spiraling and rarely settling. Produced by Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood\, The Lemon Twigs\, Father John Misty)\, the record follows that cycle across the span of a day\, beginning in a state of calm before the mind wakes up\, gathers speed\, and eventually softens again. \nFollowing a “primal and direct” instinct rather than retreating into long\, meticulous processes\, Juju and Jojo chose to work quickly\, writing their sixth album in a matter of weeks. “We felt a need to tap into a certain urgency and honesty\, as a result of our growing malaise with a cultural climate plagued by digital alienation and generative AI slop\,” says the duo. \nUsing the 24-hour framework as a creative constraint\, the record opens with Randy Newman-like piano\, peaceful and half-asleep\, before the energy shifts to the fidgety yacht rock guitar of “Mandarin Moon”\, fast-paced instrumental “Shinkansen”\, and the frantic ‘70s funk of “Stratford & 52”– the street the duo lived on when they first moved to LA. At the center is Juju and Jojo’s long-standing relationship: on “A Pocket Symphony\,” they look back to their creative and romantic partnership\, which began in high school. \nJuju and Jojo’s eco-anxieties came into immediate focus as they worked on Monkey Mind. LA’s wildfires threatened not just the city but the network of friends and collaborators they had built around them. At the same time\, that community\, a circle of LA musicians who appear across the album\, helped to ground them. The record recognizes both sides of that experience: fear of loss\, and relief at not being alone. After years of building intricate\, home-recorded worlds\, for their new album\, Juju and Jojo wanted to open the process up and capture something less controlled. Sharing similar “musical obsessions” including Todd Rundgren\, The Beach Boys\, Steely Dan\, and “early-tronic sonorities”\, they knew Jonathan Rado would be the perfect fit. Recording to tape with minimal overdubs meant they could take a “no-demo\, no-click\, live-to-tape approach\, ” which mirrored the rawness and immediacy of the writing process. \n“Every day felt like summer camp\, ” says Juju. The environment was playful and freeing\, and aside from one time when Rado’s poodles got into a stash of Kinder chocolate\, the sessions “were all joy\,” says Jojo. https://pearlandtheoysters.bandcamp.com/ \n \n+ En Heat: South coast supergroup En Heat brings together a powerhouse of cult indie talent. Led by Filthy Pedro\, the band features Killer Stu (David Cronenberg’s Wife)\, Small Talk Adam (Fruity Water / Murphy’s medicine)\, keyboardist Oliver Fist\, and New York Antifolk veteran Brer Brian. Now signed to the outsider label Blang Records\, they fit right in alongside countercultural label mates like Jeffrey Lewis and Meatraffle\, and are set to drop their highly anticipated debut album on the label soon. \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n04072026 – My Precious Bunny. SUMMARY:mildred | Brighton + Hank Bee
DESCRIPTION:mildred Brighton \nmildred play The Prince Albert\, Brighton on 22nd November 2026. Tickets nearly all gone\, get yours from Seetickets. \n“One of the year’s most endearing and disarming indie rock records” Pitchfork\n“Outstanding debut from Californian four-piece” 9/10 Uncut\n“Mildred quietly lay the foundations of their own glowing world” 4/5 Mojo \nMildred is a band from Oakland\, CA of four equal parts. They don’t have a lead singer\, no one person writes the songs. The songs that make up Fenceline come together as a group with their genesis sprouting from any one of their members – Henry Easton Koehler (vocals\, guitar)\, Jack Schrott (vocals\, guitar)\, Matt Palmquist (vocals\, bass\, woodwinds) or Will Fortna (drums\, production) – each time. The songs are often wrestled from the lead writer by the other three\, a lyric might have been mumbled absentmindedly for a few days before one of the other three grabs at it. If you ask any Mildred member what their favourite part of Fenceline is\, it will never be something they wrote. If you pin them down and ask them what their favourite part of something they did write was\, it will always be something somebody else added to it. \nThis is what makes Mildred – in many ways a timeless four piece – so special. This wonderfully easy bond between four friends just hanging out and writing songs is so palpable its intoxicating. Summed up neatly by Clash Magazine saying\, “imagine if Pavement went Americana and you’d be close”\, Mildred make music that is pure and poetic\, gently addictive and never overwrought. They describe the creation of the band as being born from “deciding that playing/talking about/thinking about music together is fun and something we want to structure our lives around as best we can”. Mildred is a vehicle for these four people to continue to spend time in each other’s company. Most bands are formed so they can get out of whatever diy space they start out playing in\, Mildred was formed so they can spend more time there.  mildredband.bandcamp.com/album/fenceline \n \nPlus support: Hank Bee: Hank Bee is the solo project of Liverpool-based\, Northumbrian musician Hannah Brown. Drawing from the folk and country traditions of the North-East while embracing the intensity of alternative rock\, her music offers lyrical candour wrapped in vivid guitar-led arrangements. Performing alongside her band\, their live shows have become a local staple\, blending reflective songwriting with epic\, emotive performances. \n“You’re delicately being cradled by her songs one moment\, and then they’ll suddenly choose to burst into life in ways that feel precise and not laboured\, and for me\, that’s the sign of a mature songwriter ready to have a major moment in the spotlight.” – Farout Magazine \nFeatured on the likes of BBC6 Music\, KEXP\, and X Radio and long-listed for Greenman Rising 2026\, Hank Bee is one of the UKs most promising emerging artists. Originally from Morpeth\, Northumberland\, Brown moved to Liverpool in 2016 and has become a familiar face in its music scene. Her writing is shaped by place\, identity\, and a fascination with the beauty and drudgery of the everyday. https://hankbee.com \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n03102026 – Cory Hanson. So get involved. \nhttps://cheekface.bandcamp.com/music \n \n+ Emperor X: Chad Matheny has been writing\, recording and performing music as Emperor X since 1998\, operating in the space in-between indie rock and emo folk/punk unlike any other current artist. He grew up in Jacksonville\, FL and now resides just outside of Berlin. His new album\, Unified Field\, due June 26\, 2026 on Bar/None\, was written and recorded mostly in Ukraine\, and it’s his crowning achievement. On Unified Field\, (a title that’s a loose David Lynch / TM reference)\, Matheny’s songs straddle the line between the personal and political\, which makes sense because the majority of this album was written and recorded while he was in Ukraine\, since the war began. Matheny has been a longtime advocate for Ukraine\, visiting the region multiple times\, touring there in 2023 and housing refugees at his home in Germany. https://emperorx.bandcamp.com \n+ Playboy Manbaby: Playboy Manbaby is not a band. SUMMARY:Ozric Tentacles + BUNKR | Lewes
DESCRIPTION:Ozric Tentacles Lewes \nOzric Tentacles live in Lewes at Lewes Con Club on 25th November! Tickets running low\, grab the final ones exclusively from SeeTickets. \nOzric Tentacles are regarded as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK’s festival scene\, formed during the solstice at Stonehenge Free Festival 1983 going on to become psychedelic staples at Glastonbury and other festivals. The creative vision of multi-instrumentalist Ed Wynne\, the Ozrics’ uniquely trippy soundscapes connect fans of progressive rock\, psychedelia and dance music culture. \nIn the 1980s the band built a fan base on the festival circuit and made a series of cassette releases\, sold at gigs and via a fan club. Their first label release was Pungent Effulgent in 1989\, which was also re-released in the early 2000s\, packaged with Strangeitude. This was followed by Erpland (1990)\, an album dedicated to Erp\, a character who appears on many of the band’s album artworks. 1991 saw the Strangeitude LP. The track “Sploosh!” was used by BMW in an advertising campaign and became the band’s only single. By 1993 their Jurassic Shift album reached the top ten of the U.K. album charts. \nOver the years the band has gone through many line-up changes\, with only Ed Wynne (guitar and keyboards) maintaining a constant presence. The sonically illustrated excursion through the musical realms the band have explored has resulted in 17 albums to date\, with their latest\, Lotus Unfolding\, released in their 40th anniversary year. The band maintain their identity and continue to tour worldwide and produce intriguing albums. https://ozrictentaclesmagnacarta.bandcamp.com/album/the-floors-too-far-away \n \n+ BUNKR: maximal melodic electronics from the outer orbit. Drawing inspiration from a love of electronica\, ambient\, melodic techno and the mysteries of the cosmos Brighton (UK) based musician/producer James Dean set about channeling these influences into his work under his BUNKR alias and\, since BUNKR’s inception in 2017\, he has been treading an exploratory path deftly cultivating a unique voice in electronic music. The first BUNKR release was issued by Berlin’s Love On The Rocks label\, picking up fans across the globe including Tim Sweeney who featured Cloud Chaser in his best of 2017 round up on his Beats In Space radio show. \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n21082026 – Way Dynamic. SUMMARY:The Sick Man of Europe + Terse Affection | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:The Sick Man of Europe Brighton \nThe Sick Man of Europe live in Brighton at The Hope & Ruin on 25th November! Get tickets from our website or FORM. \nThe Sick Man Of Europe is dedicated to the art of repetition\, precision and conviction\, with echoes of the post-punk and European art rock pioneers at the cusp of the 80s re-tooled for the present. Second album The Intermittent Signal follows 2025’s self-titled debut and raises the stakes. This is the sound of resistance\, with arrangements that have moved beyond the bare bones economy of the first record to find new levels of intensity. \nClarity and conviction ring true through the static and noise\, while utopian ideas to remodel a broken system gain traction. The Sick Man Of Europe has built a reputation for uncompromising live shows which blur the lines between audience and performer\, and have fostered a growing and loyal following. The desire for more visceral experiences beyond those viewed on a screen is a natural reaction to technology’s flattening of culture and TSMOE attempts to articulate an alternative while providing the soundtrack to make you want to move. https://thesickmanofeurope.bandcamp.com/ \n \n+ Terse Affection \nACCESSIBILITY: The venue is only accessible via a flight of stairs however they can offer access via a back door at street level to the venue if mobility is an issue or you use a wheelchair. There are 3 large steps via this route so assistance to gain access and to exit the venue would be required. We can arrange this if you contact us in advance of a show. Please bear in mind that they can only allow access in between bands due to sound issues. Two disabled toilets upstairs\, both gender neutral. If you require a carer at the venue\, please contact us at info@lovethyneighbourmusic.co.uk for guestlist\, with evidence such as a blue badge or access card. If strobe lighting is an issue or if standing for long periods of time is an issue\, please contact us in advance. They can provide chairs in the venue although if the event is very busy this will impede visibility. If you wish to make use of a chair to view a gig\, we advise arriving early to secure a position. They are happy to accommodate assistance dogs. \nThe Sick Man of Europe Brighton \nThe Sick Man of Europe Brighton

SUMMARY:Chris Wood | Seated | Lewes
DESCRIPTION:Chris Wood Lewes \nChris Wood live in Lewes at Lewes Con Club on 16th November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. This is a seated gig. \nChris Wood is an uncompromising writer whose music reveals his love for the un-official history of the English speaking people. With gentle intelligence he weaves the tradition with his own contemporary parables. A self-taught musician\, composer and song writer\, Chris is a lifelong autodidact whose independent streak shines through everything he does. Always direct and unafraid to speak his mind\, his song writing has been praised for its surgical clarity. He cites his major influence as “Anon”. \nHis most recent album ‘So Much to Defend’ has received wide critical acclaim and includes reflections on minor league football\, empty nest syndrome\, learning to swim\, Cook-in Sauce and\, not least\, the Gecko as a metaphor for contemporary society. Hollow Point; his chilling ballad of the shooting of Jean Charles Menezez\, won a BBC Folk Award (he’s won six.) and emphatically secured Wood’s place as a serious speech-master for the unofficial history of England. \nCollaborators include Martin Carthy\, Dizraeli\, Billy Bragg\, Andy Cutting\, Andy Irvine\, Karine Polwart\, Jean Francois Vrod\, The Imagined Village\, Hugh Lupton\, Martin Butler and many others. On stage Chris has the air of a craftsman who no longer needs to be precious about his art. SUMMARY:Dylan LeBlanc + Last Living Cannibal (solo) | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Dylan LeBlanc Brighton \nDylan LeBlanc live in Brighton at ALPHABET on 29th November! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nToday\, Louisiana singer-songwriter Dylan LeBlanc is excited to announce a special 10th Anniversary re-release of his acclaimed album Cautionary Tale\, which is due out on May 15\, 2026 via Single Lock Records. To herald the announcement\, he has unearthed a demo of fan-favorite track “Roll The Dice (Bedroom Demo)”. \nOf the song\, he shares: “This is a bedroom demo from my house at the time in Nashville\, Tennessee. Being young and prideful\, I was trying to figure out how to manage my relationships. “If pride was a mountain I’d be walking tall but the valley down below is a deadly fall” just came out because it felt like what was happening to me. There was a version of myself I wanted to be for someone else that I desperately needed to find for the first time for unselfish reasons. It’s a song about second chances.” https://dylanleblanc.bandcamp.com/album/coyote \n \n+ Last Living Cannibal (solo): Last Living Cannibal is the solo project of songwriter and producer Allister Kellaway\, originally founded during the pandemic\, Allister made his first album “7 Years” in 2021 using broken electronics laid over blown out electric guitars. After moving to Hastings once lockdown ceased Allister released “On A Perfect Earth EP” – swapping out electronics and fuzz for classical guitar and strings. Since moving to Brighton Allister has endeavoured to transform Last Living Cannibal’s sound yet again with a new album set to release in 2027. \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n02062026 – Real Farmer. Tracked by the band together in the same room\, it feels tantalisingly exposed\, loaded with the spontaneity of off-the-cuff performance\, its deft musical storytelling rising and falling between momentous rushes of slowcore and the stock-stillness of folk. \nCapturing the gentle yet immersive drama of the band’s cinematic live sets\, 2026 has seen ladylike play sold-out headline shows in Brighton and London\, a support tour with the Orielles\, and shows at The Great Escape (First Fifty)\, building on festival appearances at Green Man\, Dot to Dot\, Left of The Dial and Outer Town\, plus gigs with Ugly\, mary in the junkyard\, Lime Garden\, villagerr. \nIt’s also their first release since March debut EP ‘It’s A Pleasure Of Mine\, to Know You’re Fine’ landed in the top 10 on the folk charts\, won airplay on BBC 6music (Emily Pilbeam\, Huw Stephens\, New Music Fix)\, Radio X (John Kennedy)\, and BBC Radio Scotland (Roddy hart)\, alongside tastemaker backing from The Line of Best Fit\, So Young\, DIY\, Under The Radar\, Rough Trade\, Hard of Hearing\, and more. \nSpeaking more about the track\, vocalist/guitarist Georgia/Butler says: “This track is loosely about losing contact with someone and how time goes by\, your lives are separate and you never quite get back to the same place at the same time.” https://www.ladylikeband.com \n \nPlus support \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:27092026 – Glasshouse Red Spidermite. SUMMARY:Mik Artistik's Ego Trip | Lewes
DESCRIPTION:Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip Lewes \nMik Artistik’s Ego Trip play Lewes Con Club on Friday 4th December 2026. Get tickets above or from Seetickets. \n“[Sweet Leaf of The North] my favourite song of the last decade”Iggy Pop \nMik Artistik’s Ego Trip are genuinely delightful\, funny\, frightening\,and indefinable. Northern rock and roll stand-up comes close. \nMik fixes the audience with his compelling stare\, hypnotising and charming them with stories\, songs\,and poems. Every show is unique as Mik finds a new train of thought to ride.He connects\, chats\, breaks the wall between audience and band\,creates chaos\, plays air-crook lock (!?)\, and is complimented byexquisite layers of rock\, soul\, funk\, and punk created by Jonny Flockton on electric guitar\, drum machine\, and one of a number of well-heeled bass players. \nThe band are regular Glastonbury favourites since their first appearance in 2007. Many fans don’t consider Glastonbury has started until they’ve attended either Mik’s gig on the Wednesday afternoon at the Croissant Neuf Bandstand\,or the chaos that reigns at Thursday evening’s Rocket Lounge gig. Both are now Glastonbury traditions for many fans. They have achieved an enviable reputation at many of the major UK festivals\, including Latitude\, Bearded Theory\, Beat Herder\, Wilderness\, and BeautifulDays.BBC Radio 6Musichave long been playing Mik’s music withGideon Coe\, Chris Hawkins\, Shaun Keaveny and Tom Robinson all big fans of the band. https://www.mikartistik.com \n“Best live band I have seen all summer”Gideon Coe \n“My favourite band on the planet” Martin Parr \n \nPlus support \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n04072026 – My Precious Bunny. SUMMARY:John Otway | Lewes
DESCRIPTION:John Otway Lewes \nJohn Otway live in Lewes at Lewes Con Club on 5th December! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nFrom the age of 9\, John Otway knew he wanted to be a pop star. But even at that young age\, having listened to his sister’s Beatles and Stones records\, he knew he would never be able to do what they do. However\, when his sister got the latest Bob Dylan album\, he knew there was a place for him and he set about learning how to play guitar. \nOtway had to wait until 1977 and the rise of punk before his dream of fame and fortune would finally become a reality. Having caught the eye of the producers of the BBC’s Old Grey Whistle Test\, Otway’s performance on that show would grab the attention of the watching audience. Otway\, ever the showman\, decided to jump on to the amplifier of his colleague during a performance of Bob Lind’s Cheryl’s Going Home. (Un)fortunately for Otway\, he misjudged his leap and sent Wild Willy Barrett’s amplifier tumbling as he crashed down straddling the box under the amp. www.johnotway.com \n \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n02062026 – Real Farmer. SUMMARY:Triptych IX: CEANN CAPAILL\, Maximilian & Sairie | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:CEANN CAPAILL Brighton \nTriptych IX\, night one featuring CEANN CAPAILL\, Maximilian & Sairie. Get tickets above or from Seetickets. 18+ only \nTriptych consists of three nights\, each featuring three of our favourite bands and each accompanied by a lathe-cut vinyl release\, one for each night\, limited to 15 copies each. Night one features: \nCeann Capaill is a shape-shifting music project led by Irish multi-instrumentalist\, Declan Haughian. Rooted musically in the rural landscape of Ireland where Haughian grew up\, Ceann Capaill’s sound moves fluidly between rough phone-recorded field sounds to expansive large-room sessions\, using old irish archival tapes and ecstatic post rock to string together a sound which is ancient but unsettlingly modern. https://ceanncapaill.bandcamp.com \nMaximilian: A simple melody to ease a worried mind. Adrianne Lenker’s sweet lightness meets Elliott Smith’s dark intensities. Alex G’s child-like sensibility meets Neil Young’s inner presence. The result is carefully crafted songs with immaculate arrangements and earnest lyricism\, like the product of some benevolent\, arcane ritual. https://www.instagram.com/maximilianofficial_/ \nSairie: Ghosts\, fairies and tragic love brought to you by the Brighton three piece of Emma Morton\, Jon Griffin and Andy Thomas. Their music is like a séance; an enchanted visit to the inside of a hollow hill. Sairie’s new album\, Beneath the Spreading Tree\, continues their exploration of early 70’s folk influences\, blending otherworldly atmospherics with stripped-back arrangements. It follows on from the success of two 7″ singles on the Fenny Compton and Gardener’s Delight labels\, and two self-released EPs distributed by Hudson Records. Their music has already received high praise from The Wire\, The Guardian\, and Shindig! Magazine. https://linktr.ee/sairieband \n \n  \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n08112026 – Alien Boy. SUMMARY:Triptych IX: My Precious Bunny\, Al Cologne & Kitty Fitz | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:My Precious Bunny Brighton \nTriptych IX\, night 2 features My Precious Bunny\, Al Cologne and Kitty Fitz. Get tickets above or from Seetickets. 14+\, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult \nTriptych consists of three nights\, each featuring three of our favourite bands and each accompanied by a lathe-cut vinyl release\, one for each night\, limited to 15 copies each. \nThe second night features: \nMy Precious Bunny is the solo project of Lily Wolter- songwriter\, multi-instrumentalist and one-half of the beloved Brighton duo\, Penelope Isles. In celebration of her debut album\, ‘A Moment In My Eyes’\, released this May on Bella Union\, Wolter steps out on her own (with 6 close friends by her side)\, crafting music that feels like deep nostalgia. Bursts of saxophone\, clarinet\, warm analog synths and restless guitars collide with raw\, communal choral power. With some of Brighton’s best players in the mix\, MPB is gaining momentum fast. https://www.instagram.com/my.precious.bunny/ \nAl Cologne: ‘If the world could be conquered with softly-textured bewitching indie-folk-pop\, Al Cologne would be a shoo-in for dominion. Intimate majesty that quietly demands to be heard’ – End of the Road Festival\nLondon-based artist Al Cologne’s sound is charged with an electric\, queer tenderness\, gently fizzing with emotion that has condensed over years of diaristic\, kitchen-sink songwriting. Yearning\, intimacy\, and sexual discovery are bottled in songs shaped by mood rather than fixed arrangement. Their debut EP ‘Milk Teeth’ arriving March 2026 via Joy of Life International; produced by Benjamin Woods (The Golden Dregs)\, drifts in the orbit of Angel Olsen\, Sharon Van Etten\, Big Thief\, and Faye Webster. These are songs about identity\, control\, and transformation; about trying to inhabit your own body\, and then trying again the day following. https://linktr.ee/uncle.al.cologne \nKitty Fitz is the brainchild of bassist and producer/engineer Kitty Drummond\, an alt-pop artist hailing from South East London. her music is a reflection of her life-long experiences with dissociative episodes\, resulting in dreamlike\, fully-formed compositions. Kitty’s work intertwined tales of being an antagonist\, emotional vulnerability\, and clever double entendres with cinematic synth-pop melodies and shoegazey guitar landscapes. https://linktr.ee/Kittyfitz \n \n  \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n08112026 – Alien Boy. SUMMARY:Triptych IX: Magda\, Divorce Attorney and M. Woodroe | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Magda Brighton \nTriptych IX: Magda\, Divorce Attorney and M. Woodroe. Get tickets above or from Seetickets. 14+\, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult \nTriptych consists of three nights\, each featuring three of our favourite bands and each accompanied by a lathe-cut vinyl release\, one for each night\, limited to 15 copies each. The third night features: \nMagda: Uncompromising\, raw and chaotic\, Emerging from Brighton in 2024\, Magda fuses off kilter post punk with alt-rock and noise into a sound that defies easy categorisation. Known for their erratic and powerful live performances\, Magda have earned themselves a cult following. https://www.instagram.com/magda1999___/ \nDivorce Attorney is a South UK based Art Punk group with influences of shoegaze\, noise rock and post hardcore. Known for eccentric live sets with unique instruments such as Keytar and Tuba\, they have paved a strong name for themselves in both the Brighton and London circuits\, with many shows at venues such as Green Door Store\, The Windmill and The George Tavern. https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/divorceattorney/got-lost \nM. Woodroe is a moody alternative band who has quickly shot out of the local DIY scene in Brighton to gain a reputation as one of the city’s exciting emerging acts. Led by intricate political and provocative lyrics and followed by a bed of raw angular guitar noise\, the 4-piece’s image\, lyrics and sound are boundary-pushing contemplations of gender\, sexuality and desire that are difficult to pin down to genre archetypes. Recently signed to Venn Records\, played by Dan Carter on BBC Radio 1\, and gigged alongside mclusky and Prostitute\, the quartet is developing their notoriety as an intense\, refreshing\, and powerful newcomer. https://linktr.ee/m.woodroe \n  \n \n  \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n08112026 – Alien Boy. SUMMARY:Mynolia | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Mynolia Brighton \nMynolia play Brighton at The Folklore Rooms on Saturday 23rd January 2027. Get tickets above or from Seetickets. 18+ only \nNashville-based folk singer/songwriter Mynolia blends melancholy instrumentation with lyrical surrealism\, drawing melodic inspiration from traditional folk choirs and eastern flute music. \nMynolia’s music is shaped by a life lived inside of\, and felt outside of various nations\, between Canada\, New Zealand\, Berlin\, Germany\, and most recently a cabin in the remote American South\, where she spent two years writing\, recording\, and recalibrating. There\, she made use of field recordings and found instruments\, taught herself production techniques\, and drew deeply on a bone-deep spirituality that runs through everything she makes. \nHer sound is earthen and serene with cosmic moments threaded in\, resulting in a mystic folk that is tinged in a Berliner haze and a Southern heat. \nHer debut album\, All Things Heavy\, was released via Bronze Rat Records (Seasick Steve\, Jon Spencer)\, compiling tracks from originally self-released EPs. Now signed to UK label Full Time Hobby\, Mynolia has recently released the new single ‘Run Like Hell’. https://www.mynolia.com \n \nPlus support \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:02112026 – villagerrr. DESCRIPTION:Curbside Lambsear Brighton \nCurbside Lambsear play Brighton at The Prince Albert on 4th February 2027! Get tickets above or from Seetickets. This is an 18+ show\, no refunds for incorrectly purchased tickets. \nCurbside Lambsear is Annabelle Mödlinger and Magdalena McLean. The collaboration explores rough textures and soft intentions\, weaving together elements of pop\, folk\, and improvisation with influences of drone\, dub\, and post-punk.\nThe project began as a way for Magdalena and Annabelle to experiment with writing music together\, using early sessions to learn new instruments\, the process of recording and writing on DAWs. Their musical output is the result of time spent together in the studio fusing disparate influences into collage; phone notes\, little poems written on public transport\, field recordings\, sample loops\, rehearsal voice memos and string melodies merge\, realign\, and sometimes coalesce into songs.  https://curbsidelambsear.bandcamp.com \n \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:02112026 – villagerrr. SUMMARY:Jim Moray ± Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Jim Moray Brighton \nJim Moray live in Brighton at Komedia on Saturday 6th February! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nJim Moray is an English folk musician\, singer\, and producer known for his innovative approach to traditional folk music. First gaining notice in the early 2000s for his startling reimagining of traditional songs\, blending acoustic instrumentation with electronic production\, he has established himself as one of the key figures in the English Folk Revival of the last 25 years. \nA true polymath\, he is known for playing nearly all the instruments on his recordings as well as producing\, arranging and mixing. He is also in demand as a producer for both a new generation of forward-looking folk musicians and the older generation of musicians who came before him. Never satisfied with staying still\, the artist is still moving after shaking the folk world to its foundations twenty years ago. And in a genre where musicians reach their peak the older they get\, there’s a sense that he has only just begun. https://jimmoray.bandcamp.com/album/gallants \n \n+ Support \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n26032026 – Heavenly. But they also make groundbreaking comedy TV\, and they star in it. \nThese New South Whales fourth album trades their usual modes of dread and anxiety for a new found self assurance. GODSPEED calls for a rejection of follow-the-leader mentality in favour of autonomy and intuition\, with TNSW’s signature knack for balancing harsh reality with comic relief. \nMusically the album pulls from an even broader church of influences\, from ’80s balladry and British guitar pop to full-throttle hardcore\, the result of a fruitful partnership with producer and punk luminary Ben Greenberg (Depeche Mode\, Drab Majesty\, Show Me The Body). \nAffecting through to their last word\, GODSPEED is a refinement rather than a reinvention. Dismissing any concerns of the band having become too self-serious\, it’s as eclectic and galvanising as it is a damn good time. Above all – switched on and sick of it all – it’s a reminder that salvation has no blueprint. Trust yourself and see. \nhttps://thesenewsouthwhales.bandcamp.com/album/godspeed \n \n+ support \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n10092026 – Ohtis. The Prince Albert\n16092026 – Bratakus. SUMMARY:Amelia Coburn + Katacombs | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Amelia Coburn Brighton \nAmelia Coburn live in Brighton at Komedia on Saturday 13th February! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nAmelia Coburn has a knack for making the unusual sound timeless. Her honest\, occasionally hilarious and quintessentially north-eastern persona disarms and beguiles in equal measure. \nDrawing inspiration from gothic literature and the shadowy allure of film noir\, there is a darkness at the heart of many of her songs\, populated by vivid characters and nocturnal creatures that inhabit the liminal space “between the moon and the milkman”. \nHer Bill Ryder-Jones produced debut album gained a cult following\, with national radio play across BBC Radios 2\, 3\, 4\, 5 and 6\, as well as tastemaker support from Mojo\, The Line of Best Fit\, Shindig! Magazine\, The Arts Desk\, Clash\, Americana UK\, KLOF Mag\, Far Out and many more. \nA breakthrough 2025 saw her hailed as “one to watch” by Louder Than War and Drowned In Sound\, as well as spellbinding sets at SXSW in Texas and a feature on Paul Weller’s latest album ‘Find El Dorado’. \nTour supports with the likes of The Levellers\, Rianne Downey\, Hamish Hawk\, Stornoway\, Rumer and Katherine Priddy followed – not to mention her own sold-out Royal Albert Hall ‘Elgar Room’ show and mesmerising performances at some of the UK’s best loved boutique festivals. \nA sold-out solo headline UK tour in early 2026 solidified her burgeoning reputation\, with slots alongside Paul Weller\, Suzanne Vega and The Proclaimers showcasing Amelia’s sound to ever increasing audiences. \nWith a new album around the corner\, Amelia embarks on her biggest full band headline shows to date at a trio of much-loved\, flagship northern venues: The Brudenell in Leeds\, Yes in Manchester and The Glasshouse in Gateshead. Tickets: www.ameliacoburn.co.uk \n \n+ Katacombs: A lifetime of writing\, amateur recording\, late-night bedroom jams\, and one-offs has evolved into five years of full-time touring for Katerina Kiranos. Dividing time between her solo project\, Katacombs\, and playing keys for the U.S.based band Amigo the Devil\, she has created lasting connections with listeners and fellow artists alike. Her experience on the road ranges from small independent venues to a sold out Red Rocks. Being the sole heart of one project and a disciple of another has deepened Katerina’s voice both as a musician and a storyteller. \nAs Katacombs\, she has supported artists including Amigo the Devil\, Frank Turner\, Murder by Death\, Bridge City Sinners\, Shayfer James\, and The Inspector Cluzo. This year saw her complete her first headline tour\, with six shows across England\, alongside festival debuts at Bearded Theory and Cambridge Folk Festival. \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:\n02062026 – Real Farmer. SUMMARY:Seamus Fogarty | Brighton
DESCRIPTION:Seamus Fogarty Brighton \nSeamus Fogarty plays a duo show with a live drummer in Brighton at Green Door Store on Saturday 13th February 2027. Get tickets above or from Seetickets. \nLondon-based alt-folk alchemist Seamus Fogarty released new album Ships to critical acclaim earlier this year via Scottish label Lost Map Records\, and Swedish label Sing A Song Fighter.  Since then\, he has enjoyed widespread coverage across BBC6Music (“Fantastic!” Guy Garvey) and recorded a live session for Gideon Coe & Marc Riley\, while BBC Radio 3’s Elizabeth Alker lauded the album’s mix of electronica\, German avant-garde and Irish folk inspiration\, summing it up neatly “It’s robotic\, and it’s got soul’’. Is it any wonder Cillian Murphy has proclaimed Seamus to be ‘one of my favourite artists around at the moment’? \nAugmenting his performances with a range of analog synths and drum machines and a stellar cast of supporting musicians\, including multi-instrumentalist Emma Smith (Pulp\, Beth Gibbons) and drummer Aram Zarikian (Grass Cut\, Peaky Blinders)\, his live shows are no less ambitious and have seen him traveling around the UK both in a headline capacity and as an opening act on sold out shows & tours for fellow artists Lisa O’Neill\, Katherine Priddy and This is the Kit. \nHe also played to huge audiences on the Garden Stage at End Of The Road Festival\, Green Man Festival and All Together Now and is soon to go on tour with The Delines\, before embarking on a 13-date headline tour of Ireland in November. January – March 2027 will see a 24-date UK tour celebrating the 1-year anniversary of the Ships release. https://seamusfogarty.bandcamp.com/music \n \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:03102026 – Cory Hanson. SUMMARY:Anna Erhard | Brighton + Dana Gavanski
DESCRIPTION:Anna Erhard Brighton \nAnna Erhard live in Brighton at CHALK on 11th March! Get tickets above\, or from SeeTickets. \nAnna Erhard Announces UK/EU Headline Tour for Upcoming Album 1000 Sheep. Berlin-based Swiss musician Anna Erhard is opening a new chapter in her career with the release of her new single\, “1000 Sheep.” The track marks the beginning of the campaign for her forthcoming album of the same name\, which is set for release in February 2027. \nOver the past years\, Anna Erhard has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in European indie pop. Her music lives somewhere between the laid-back spirit of Kurt Vile and the inventive charm of early Beck\, blending distorted guitars and lofi keyboards with witty storytelling. Delivered with her trademark nonchalance\, her songs transform everyday observations\, travels and chance encounters into memorable musical snapshots. Following the release of her third studio album Botanical Garden in 2024\, which was widely acclaimed across Europe\, Erhard embarked on sold-out tours throughout the UK and performed extensively across the continent. Highlights of this period included an appearance at the legendary Glastonbury Festival as well as strong support from BBC 6 Music\, featuring heavy rotation airplay and several live sessions\, including a recording at London’s iconic Maida Vale Studios. \nWith “1000 Sheep\,” Anna Erhard offers a first glimpse into her forthcoming album and once again showcases her ability to turn everyday observations and fleeting encounters into witty\, playful and captivating stories. “After last summer’s festival tour\, I wrote this song about a cute shepherd we met on his farm during one of our days off. In reality\, we only exchanged maybe five sentences; the rest of the story was invented by the band and me during long drives between shows\, until we had convinced ourselves of this love story. Since I basically knew nothing about him\, the main thing I celebrate him for in this song is that he is incredibly good at counting sheep.“ https://annaerhard.bandcamp.com/ \n \n+ support: Dana Gavanski:\nFollowing her 2024 album LATE SLAP\, Dana Gavanski has shared the Again Again EP\, which sees the Canadian-Serbian artist turn to the piano as her muse. In the time since LATE SLAP\, Gavanski has been busy. Amidst completing a headline tour of the UK\, a run of dates in support of Jess Williamson\, spending time swimming in the Adriatic sea and taking up silversmithing\, she’s also always working on new material. Returning back to her studio\, this time around Gavanski took to writing songs on the upright piano. On her newly rekindled love for the instrument\, Gavanski notes\, “I decided to brush up on my piano skills and since then I’ve been obsessed. I feel like a big child on the piano. I love how my hands move up and down\, like swooping eagles each time they hit a chord.” On Again Again\, she sounds more mature than childlike\, sonically more distant from the Bowie-esque choruses and synth driven art-pop of LATE SLAP. https://danagavanskifth.bandcamp.com \nUpcoming Love Thy Neighbour shows:01102026 – The Tubs.
