Skydaddy, the moniker of London-based musician and bandleader Rachid Fakhre, releases his debut EP, Pilot. Having spent the last few years writing and producing as one half of the acclaimed musical duo Spang Sisters, Skydaddy’s debut EP Pilot promises to be a ray of light bursting out from an increasingly busy London indie scene. Combining cello, violin, flute, piano and intricate vocal harmonies, Skydaddy cuts an utterly compelling figure, leading a fluid and interchangeable band, at its largest 8 people strong, they delicately glide through intricate passages of chamber-folk-rock, into swelling orchestral crescendos.

+ Joel Whitaker
+ Dan Shepherd: one quarter of the band Hutch – weaves delicate and emotionally poignant folk melodies with modern pop structures to create a set of airy, lyric driven songs which you might find yourself whistling on the way out. FFO: Andy Shauf, Paul Simon and Ben Folds
Unfortunately, we’re not accessible for those in wheelchairs or those that have any serious physical disability. The toilets aren’t accessible and the stairway up to the venue isn’t either. We’re an old listed building and despite all efforts, is sadly something we are unable to change
