A born storyteller, through his records and his writing Scott Lavene has long been populating a hallucinogenic world of his own creation with ne’er do wells, ragamuffins and eccentrics. Last Living Cannibal: Last Living Cannibal is the project of songwriter and producer Allister Kellaway. It began in late 2019 as a small side project with a few songs written on guitar and drum machine, eventually morphing into a full-time endeavour in 2020. What resulted was the release “7 Years” in 2021, an album about the struggle between optimism and melancholy and coming to terms with the subtle loss of innocence in early adulthood. A year later Allister released “On a Perfect Earth EP” on Nothing Fancy Records, opting for a more relaxed acoustic sound.
